The lower plate can move out for the easy loading or unloading of the mould. In its locked position, it is in perfect alignment with the upper plate, for a good match between both the dies. The upper plate slides vertically by a hydraulic actuation on four guide columns, and can be overturned by 3600 with a gear system. Due to this it becomes easy for working on the top mould. Thereafter, it is situated in the reverse position by 4 hydraulically-operated pegs. It is designed with two energy accumulators, a hydraulic device, to strike a shot on the closed mould with additional powerthat is over and above the clamping force of the press itself. The press is set with a resin-injection system, after heating the resin. The die-spotting press is used for the tryout of the moulds and dies produced, or for their maintenance. It is ideally suited for the plastic, thermosetting, rubber, aluminium die casting, and the sheet metal industries. These are available in several models. The series mil has the table sizes ranging from 1,000 x 800 mm to 3,000 x 2,000 mm. It has clamping force from 360 kn to 3,000 kn. The weight on the top plate can be up to 40 tonnes, and on the lower one up to 80 tonnes. In this series, the top plate can be rotated by 1800 frontward out, whereas the bottom one by 700 on either side and moved sideward.
